08.22	Sheriff Welcomes New R.S.V.P. Graduate News Story Sheriff Brown is happy to announce the latest graduate of the R.S.V.P. team, acronym for Retired Senior Volunteer Patrol. Michael Stein completed the six week training program, preparing him for duties which include, parking lot security patrol, motorist assistance, funeral traffic control, expired tag warnings, vacation home checks and a multitude of assignments that are dispatched to the squad on a daily basis.

Instead he met deputies ready to arrest him. Bedford County deputies arrested 22-year-old Samuel Wyar last week after they say he arranged a meeting with someone he thought was a minor.
