Bedford Humane Society Recognizes BCSO Officers

In honor of National Animal Control Officer Appreciation week, members of the Bedford Humane Society publicly recognized the Bedford Sheriff's Animal Control Officers and K-9 Officers, thanking them for their hard work and dedication to the safety of our county.

"Not only are these officers committed to the safety of our citizens from dangerous animals", said Doreen Ehasz, Executive Director, "they are also committed to the safety of animals whether it be from a predator or a neglecting human." Bedford County Deputies were presented with a certificate of appreciation and all enjoyed cake and refreshments.
