Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy Graduates Twenty-Six

On June 19, 2002, the Central Virginia Criminal Justice Academy held graduation exercises for its 58th Basic Law Enforcement School at the Holiday Inn Select in Lynchburg. Among the twenty six graduates were Deputies Greg Hill (L) and Chad Helms (R). Sheriff Mike Brown was in attendance with the crowd of over 300, to congratulate the graduates and welcome them both into service.

Deputies Hill and Helms have been assigned to the Field Services Division and will begin their law enforcement careers as Road Deputies.

The Honorable John William marshal, Virginia Secretary of Public Safety was the key note speaker at the graduation ceremony.
