Elderly Woman Abduction/Home Robbery Suspects in Custody

Bedford, VA – Two of the three suspects in the September 3rd abduction and robbery of an elderly woman in the western part of Bedford County, are currently in custody. The third suspect is expected to be in custody by press time.

Sheriff Brown will provide further detail of the case and the investigations behind the tracking of the suspects; two males, one female and the multi-jurisdictional efforts for their capture.

Gardner, who has been with the Sheriff’s office since 1979, “has a celebrated career in law enforcement and continues to be a fine representation of professionalism and dedication to this community” said Brown. “Gardner’s years of experience are invaluable to this agency and to the citizens of Bedford County”.
