Press Conference - Lt. Governor Bill Bolling and Delegate Lacey Putney

Bedford, VA - Lieutenant Governor Bolling and Delegate Putney held a press conference at the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office on Friday, October 19, 2007, at 2:30 PM.

Lieutenant Governor Bolling and Delegate Putney made a presentation of $95,000.00 to the Southern Virginia Internet Crimes Against Children (SOVA ICAC) Task Force. Five SOVA ICAC affiliate law enforcement agencies from across the Commonwealth were in attendance and will share in this grant.

Senator Joe Biden’s bill, “Combating Child Exploitation Act of 2007”, was also discussed, and information was provided as to its impact on our task force and the possible funding of additional personnel for the SOVA ICAC Task Force.
