Search Warrant Leads to Arrest

Thursday afternoon, December 13, The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office Tactical Response Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 3726 Diamond Hill Road, Moneta, Va. The search warrant was the result of citizen complaints and investigation conducted by the sheriff’s office Narcotics Investigations Unit. Investigators seized a large quantity of marijuana and two assault rifles during the search of the residence.

Kean Montgomery, age 24, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of firearms while in possession of drugs. He is being held in the Blue Ridge Regional Jail in Bedford on no bond.
