At 12:37 a.m. last Friday morning May 2, 2008, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting an inappropriate conversation between several Montvale Elementary School students on their school bus Thursday afternoon. The conversation allegedly consisted of threats of bodily harm towards a teacher.

After receiving the call, the sheriff’s office notified Bedford County School Officials. Sheriff’s School Resource Officers arrived at the school at 6:30 a.m. Friday morning and met with the school officials. As the students arrived at school, they were interviewed by school officials. Later in the day, school resource officers and sheriff’s investigators searched the student’s homes with the consent of their parents.

At this time charges of disorderly conduct are pending against two of the 6th. grade students that were on the bus.
