May 6, 2008 At 12:37 a.m. last Friday morning May 2, 2008,
the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office received a call reporting an
inappropriate conversation between several Montvale Elementary School
students on their school bus Thursday afternoon. The conversation
allegedly consisted of threats of bodily harm towards a teacher. After receiving the call, the sheriff’s office
notified Bedford County School Officials. Sheriff’s School Resource
Officers arrived at the school at 6:30 a.m. Friday morning and met with
the school officials. As the students arrived at school, they were
interviewed by school officials. Later in the day, school resource
officers and sheriff’s investigators searched the student’s homes with
the consent of their parents. At this time charges of disorderly conduct are pending against two of the 6th. grade students that were on the bus. |
